Vascular Laser (595nm VBeam)

Expert Treatment for Facial Redness, Broken Capillaries, and Vascular Concerns

Dr Nina offer advanced vascular laser treatments to target a wide range of red skin concerns—including facial flushing, broken capillaries, rosacea, and post-acne redness.

What Does the Vascular Laser Treat?

The 595nm VBeam laser is highly effective in treating:

  • Facial flushing and chronic redness

  • Rosacea and telangiectasia (broken capillaries)

  • Red acne scars

  • Cherry angiomas

  • Spider veins and visible vessels around the nose

  • Red birthmarks (e.g., port wine stains)

  • Poikiloderma of Civatte (redness and mottling of the neck and chest)

  • Generalised redness following cosmetic or surgical procedures

How Does the 595nm Laser Work?

The VBeam laser works by delivering a concentrated burst of energy that selectively targets oxyhemoglobin in blood vessels. This heats and safely closes down the vessel without damaging surrounding tissue.

The result: visibly clearer skin with reduced redness and vessel prominence.

Tailored Combination Treatments

Not all redness is the same—and not all lasers can treat every type of vessel. That’s the advantage of going to a laser practice with multiple platforms. This enables more precision.

  • VBeam (595nm) for superficial redness and fine facial vessels

  • BBL (BroadBand Light) for diffuse flushing and background redness

  • 755nm Alexandrite for slightly deeper vessels

  • 1064nm Nd:YAG for blue or deep reticular veins

This multi-wavelength strategy allows us to:

  • Target the right depth and vessel size

  • Maximise clearance

  • Minimise risk of bruising or post-inflammatory pigmentation

Dr Nina Wines and her team customise every session to match your skin tone, vessel characteristics, and goals.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is VBeam painful?

Most patients describe the sensation as a quick, mild sting—similar to a rubber band flick. Cooling technology makes the procedure comfortable without needing numbing cream.

Will I bruise after VBeam?

Bruising is rare with modern settings. Some patients with dense vascular lesions may experience purpura (temporary dark spots), which fade over 5–7 days.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the condition. Facial capillaries and mild rosacea may clear in 1–2 sessions; chronic redness or poikiloderma often needs 3 or more.

Can I wear makeup after treatment?

Yes, light mineral makeup can be worn the next day. We advise avoiding heat, alcohol, and vigorous exercise for 24 hours.

Can this be combined with other lasers?

Absolutely. For enhanced results, we often combine 595nm with BBL or 1064nm to reach deeper vessels or background redness.

Is it safe for darker skin types?

The 595nm laser is safe when used by experienced hands with appropriate settings. At NSDL, we take skin tone and vessel depth into account to minimise any pigmentation risks.
