Dr Wines aims to provide enough repeats on your prescription to last until your next visit. If you need a repeat prescription please contact our reception team. If Dr Wines feels she needs to see you prior to providing your repeat she will let you know. If you require a replacement prescription for one that has been lost, please contact our team. An administrative fee may be incurred.
Results from Tests
At the time of any skin biopsy Dr Wines will normally advise you when your results are expected to be available. Results are generally given at the time of removal of sutures. Sometimes there are special circumstances where she will not discuss results over the phone. This is because she believes she needs to see you to provide you with the best possible care.
Returning phone calls and emails
Due to the nature of medical practice, it is often not possible to return phone calls or answer emails until the end of a working day or until the weekend. If you have any urgent concerns please make an appointment to see Dr Wines. To provide the best possible care it is not recommended to make diagnosis or provide management advice based on photographs emailed or sent.
Transfer of Medical Records
Many patients move overseas or transfer interstate. Your ongoing professional care is important to Dr Wines who can assist you with good contacts for your ongoing care. A transfer of medical records form will need to be filled in. If a full record is required, we only send direct to the medical practice you are attending. If the file is large a USB may be required.
