Acne Scar Revision Program

Advanced. Individualised. Results-Oriented.

Dr Nina Wines’ Acne Scar Revision Program is designed for one purpose: to help patients achieve visible results with fewer, more effective treatments.

A recognised leader in acne scar management, Dr Wines applies a modernised, evidence-based approach that combines multiple proven techniques into a single session—where it is safe and appropriate to do so. While most patients still require a series of treatments, this program is designed to deliver more impact per session than traditional protocols, aiming to reduce total treatment time and improve outcomes.

Dr Wines is a published expert in acne scarring and guest-edited a leading journal issue on the topic in 2022. Her program reflects the latest thinking in procedural dermatology—using a customised, layered approach that may include:

  • Precision subcision and dermal fillers

  • COâ‚‚ pinpoint ablation for ice-pick scars

  • Multiplanar fractional laser resurfacing where multiple fractional devices of different depths are deployed in a single session: because scars occur at various depths

  • Surgical Approaches if required

  • Carefully selected adjunctive therapies based on scar type and skin profile

What makes this program different:

  • Greater outcome per session, reducing treatment fatigue

  • Fully personalised plans based on scar subtype and skin characteristics

  • Led by a subspecialist in acne scarring with two decades of clinical expertise

This is acne scar revision redefined—with real strategy, rigour, and care behind every treatment.

A special note about ice pick scars. These are the most challenging to manage. I have found that a single session of pinpoint CO2 precisely tailored to the depth of the scar produces more outcome in a single session than paint brush TCA cross. This is a simple safe, painfree treatment. But multiple sessions are required.
