AviClear Acne Laser Treatment
TGA-Approved Acne 1726nm Device | Medically Supervised, Ethically Delivered
Clinical Leadership in AviClear
At Northern Sydney Dermatology & Laser, we are proud to have performed a large number of AviClear treatments using a thoughtful ethical method ensure patients were offered all treatment options and made their own educated choice to have this treatment based on full information provided of all alternative options.
More importantly, we’ve used this experience to evaluate AviClear through a medically responsible, non-industry-funded lens—assessing where this treatment truly adds value in the real world, and where it may not.
Our clinic has conducted independent, data-driven research to define the appropriate role of 1726nm laser within acne management. We do not promote it as a standalone solution, but rather as one tool within a dermatologist-led, multimodal strategy.
Aviclear Laser - a medically grounded approach
TGA-Approved | Medically Guided | Long-Term Control
AviClear is a breakthrough 1726nm laser designed to treat acne at its source—the sebaceous gland. It’s the first and only TGA- and FDA-cleared energy device for mild to severe acne. Our approach is guided by non–industry-funded clinical insight, ensuring that AviClear is used ethically, strategically, and responsibly.
A Tool, Not a Miracle
We view AviClear as one tool in a broader acne strategy, not a standalone cure. Every patient is assessed by a dermatologist, and treatment is only offered when clinically appropriate.
What sets our results apart:
You enter an Acne Treatment program
This involves a pre-treatment effective dermatologist consultation where all solutions are offered and individualised
300 laser pulses per session, delivered consistently (this does not happen in all clinics due to patient and operator fatigue)
Pain management options to reduce treatment fatigue of operator and patient
Integration with medical therapy when indicated
Ongoing dermatologist review at 3,6 & 12 months
“Laser without context is just technology. Laser with individualised strategy becomes an effective tool in our medicinal armentarium.” — Dr. Nina Wines
