Dr Nina WinesBSc MBBS DRANZCOG FACD Medical, Surgical and Cosmetic DermatologistAfter completing her science degree, Dr Nina Wines graduated in Medicine from the University of Sydney. She then obtained the Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (Royal Australasian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists) prior to being admitted as a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. In 2007, she was awarded the FC Florence Bequest by Australasian College of Dermatologists and completed a travelling fellowship in Dermatology in Europe primarily based at Yorkhill Hospital for Sick Children Glasgow , Our Ladys Hospital for Sick Children, Dublin , Ireland, The Royal Infirmary Hospital, Edinburgh and Charitie Hospital Berlin Germany. Throughout her career Dr Wines has published many articles in leading journals. She was the recipient for the Scheering-Plough Award for research in 2005 and received an award for the most outstanding research in dermatopathology by the Australasian Society for Dermatopathology in 2002. She is a Visiting Medical Officer at St Vincent's Hospital, Darlinghurst teaching both medical students and dermatology registrars. Dr Wines offers a broad range of general medical and surgical dermatological services including skin cancer checks and treatments. She has particular interests in the management of acne scarring, vascular birth marks and photodynamic therapy. She also performs vascular and pigment laser therapy and anti-wrinkle treatments.
